Weekly Photo Challenge : Weathered

Weathered Trees

Crater Lake has spectacular views and inspires awe to all who visit. Photographers, artists, sightseers and hikers flock there and are mesmerized by the wonder and beauty of the intense blue water. Perched on the rim of Crater Lake are many weathered trees: grey, wind-sculptured and double bent like works of art.  Only a few people stop to admire the beauty  found in these weathered and natural masterpieces.  These tress have given up life but still stand defiant as monuments to the natural beauty of their surroundings.
